Marina Sirtis of “Star Trek: The Next Generation” to star in “GodMachine” feature film

Known for her portrayal of Counselor Troi on “Star Trek: The Next Generation,” Marina Sirtis will play the role of “Irina,” both madam and guardian of an android brothel, in the feature film adaptation of the sci-fi short film “GodMachine.” The story, which centers around an android capable of channeling the frequency of the Big Bang, will feature Marina SirtisĀ alongside other notable sci-fi alumni Robert Leeshock and Von Flores of Gene Roddenberry’s “Earth: Final Conflict,” and Jason Carter of “Babylon 5.” The “GodMachine” feature is slated for a Fall 2013 release.
